A world of things made from waste

The Wilson Fibre® is fully sterilized, energy-dense and created from recycled organics. For almost 20 years, it has been proven as a consistent and reliable feedstock in the creation of second generation bio-products and bio-fuels.

Our advanced feedstock meets quality specifications and performance expectations, offering an alternative to deforestation and the use of fossil fuels.

Each plant recycles up to 175,000 tons of organic waste per year with virtually no emissions to the atmosphere.

Each plant offsets up to 200,000 tons of CO2 equivalent per year. Our facility is under negative air pressure, preventing any odor from escaping into the air.

HEG facilities will allow for real-time waste analysis and reporting through world class dashboard / BI tool to track the most profitable waste streams for improved profit.

Our partners

The Wilson Fibre® is converted through secondary processes into diverse commercial products, such as solid bio-fuels, syngas with Anaerobic Digestion systems, input materials for manufacture of recycle paper, bio-plastics, or to create liquid bio-fuels and intermediate industrial chemicals.

We are a team of scientists, engineers and problem solvers with a mission

Hughes Energy Group is a New York based green tech, fiber production company providing a low-carbon solution to recycling organic waste. We are the exclusive licensee of the Wilson System®, a proprietary technology that transforms organic materials into high-value consumer bio-products to help achieve a zero carbon world.

With cutting-edge expertise in industrial steam process technology, we are partnering with global industry leaders to develop consumer and industrial bio-products and bio-fuels while displacing fossil-fuel or forests as a feedstock.

Autoclaves have been used in large-scale industry for decades, and different autoclave enclosure designs have been developed to meet the demands of the user. As technology has progressed so has autoclave design, initially from basic riveted steam heated vessels to today’s vessels fabricated utilizing the latest welding techniques with highly sophisticated computerized control systems.

The Wilson System® uses a steam autoclaving technology designed to transform unwanted organic material streams into a higher and better use. Each module of our system transforms over 20 metric tons per hour.

Offtake Opportunities

Fiber for recycled cardboard and craft paper

The Wilson Fibre® is a proven as a consistent and reliable feedstock to make recycled paper and cardboard. Our advanced paper feedstock meets demands and performance expectations without the environmental impact of deforestation.

Fiber Synergy:

Paper made from a blend of MSW fibers and traditional secondary fibers has shown to have increased strength (tensile) and dimensional (compression) properties.

High Freeness Values:

Cellulose fiber reclaimed from MSW by steam autoclave has higher freeness properties than other recycled fibers.

Reduced Stock Preparations

The Wilson Process allows for easy separation of potential contaminants (i.e. adhesives, staples, or stickies) prior to delivery so there is less processing compared to OCC.

Let's build a more sustainable future

When it comes to protecting our planet, there is no middle ground. Building a world where organic waste becomes a sought-after raw material instead of being buried in a landfill is no easy task.

To get there, we are working with brands and industrial partners to implement our technology and transform fiber to bio-products. By partnering up with us, your company can step up with the world's action-oriented leaders and join our mission of a net-zero world.
