Dane is dual US/Irish national, and the Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Hughes Energy. McSpedon is first and foremost a builder of companies and a strategic sales professional. With over 25 years’ experience in international business, Dane started his career establishing and managing the local affiliates for IBM Inc, Honeywell Inc, and Kelly Services Inc. in the 90s/00s.

Dane managed 18 country affiliates and established sales distributors in over 65 countries while running Global Sales and Services at De La Rue, the UK banknote printer. Dane also established new operations in Central and South America for AVA, an international secure logistics company. Dane has been an advisor to Brendan Hughes and Hughes Energy since 2013, raised Series A financing and has attracted key members of the Hughes Management Team.
